Clemson University, in South Carolina, is one of only a handful of institutions world-wide which offers a Ceramic Engineering curricula.  This program has been in place for 50 years. CU also has over five years experience in vitrification technology with over 20 research projects completed to date.  This research work ranges from evaluations of glass composition durability to surrogate waste processing.  Clients include the: Savannah River Site, Oak Ridge Reservation, Rocky Flats Plant, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Hanford Reservation.
